Tasmanian Myrtle includes Flame, Tiger and Burl grain variations Tree Size: Medium sized hardwood from Tasmania and eastern Victoria. Wood description: Heartwood pink/reddish brown with fine grain. Density/Weight: 700 kg/m3. Drying: Shrinkage 3 - 6.5 % Working Qualities: Responds well to bending, sanding and accepting a finish.
